  1. Alright, I don’t have a funny story or even one that is entertaining unless its about the dog chasing chickens or horses, but he doesn’t do that much too often anymore as he has learned to behave, and this story isn’t even really about ‘him’, this is a story of longing is for a running companion, a female counterpart, a furry friend who will be at my and my kids side during the day or warming our feet on our beds at night…

Our family farm has the most loving, gigantic golden retriever named Henry… now, he has a collar already and I fear Mat his owner wont allow his masculinity to be challenge by having him wear a heart, but thats okay because it wouldn’t be for the ungrateful ogre uncle and Henry probably wont be too partial to hearts that I know of, yet I absolutely-positively am certain his counterpart, the perfect lady pup Victoria who soon is to bless our home will absolutely love it, and better yet so will her momma… I’ve been dreaming of having my own dog for 10 years now and we are finally going to have our little lass very soon once our home is renovated out at Country Road Gardens…

So, where-in I have always adored your fine jewelry Kerin and have coveted it daily, I fear my new dog Tory is going to have a charming piece before I am, even if we do not claim the winning prize, because I’ve fallen in love with these true blue friend heart charms!

    Best of Luck and Love!

  2. My dog Moo picked me when he saw me at the shelter. So we have been together 9 years. I am not married and have no children, so Moo means everything to me. He loves me no matter what. He is never disappointed in me that I can tell and he knows a little Italian. “Scoozie” always makes him give me space in the bed. I love Moo and very thankful he chose me.

  3. My pup Mona Bone has been one of the biggest blessings of my life.

About six years ago one of my best friend and partner was killed in a car accident. I was so sad for a long period of time. I had trouble convincing myself of a reason to get up in the morning. I went from a super smiley happy person to a shell of myself.

Finally, I decided I needed another love in my life. I went to the shelter to look for a dog to bring into my house. I had said that I would get any breed of dog but a pitt bull because they are so hard to rent with. Well, isn’t there the sweetest little 6 month old pitt in there?

She was starved and burned by cigarettes all across her face. She had been abused so badly by her previous owners that for years if someone other than me walked by with a large object or a broom, she would pee herself. But even with this start in life, her nose was actually bloody because she was straining so hard to kiss everyone through her crate at the shelter. During my hardest times she showed me love, appreciation and joy at the smallest things which are easy to take for granted.

More than five years later, she has consistently been the sweetest, most loving companion for me (and now my husband!) in life. I only wish that everyone would open their heart to animals like her who need loving homes, but also give you so much guidance and strength through their own teachings.

    Much love all!

  4. Well one of my favorite stories is the time when my bad to the bone black chow gave Lolita, the crazy yellow lab puppy, a black eye. I can see that it’s healed nicely. My next story is one day, as I was driving down the street, a thought popped into my head: “I need a little male Jack Russell Terrior, about 9 months old, neutered, and I’ll name him Spike.” Then when I got home, I turned on the computer and went to the city’s animal shelter web site and what did I see under adoptable pets? Male, Jack Russell, neutered, 9 months old, NAMED Spike. Needless to say, he is my forever friend, and it’s a match made in heaven. 🙂

  5. Awww, Lolita is so beautiful! Alas, I don’t have a doggy right now, so don’t include me in the drawing! Just wanted to stop by and say that I have a little something for you on my blog–when you have moment, come visit to pick it up 🙂

    Hope you’re doing well!
    Take care,
    IVy

  6. I have a lot to say about my dog.
She was a little mongrel girl, her name is Duna.
We are brazilian, where ‘duna” means (sand)dune.
And, my Lord, that girl really loved to swim!
The little sweety went to Heaven when she was 16 1/2 yo.
Nevertheless she´s alive into her mother´s heart. Forever.
    We shared life.
To make short a long story, my blog is called db: just trying to honor this gift from Heaven.
PS: congratulations for your pieces. All awesome!
    Best regards,
