a ramble through the bramble…..

Took the pooches out for a walk about an hour ago, through our usual haunt that has a stream and a swimming hole made by an abandoned beaver dam….along the trail, we happened upon this!….someone has been playing in the woods…building..well, there were at least 5 of the lean-to ‘s in various sizes….tiny ones for faeries and chipmunks, and  big enough to sleep a good sized human!…and then, the piece de resistance, this very large one, with a sleeping platform built in!….
There are ‘tree branch pyramids’  in the woods along some of the other walks I take too…
Does anyone know what they mean?
ponderment…..

  1. Okay, you have a big problem on your hands here:

In my professional opinion/deduction the only possible explanation for this is that a yetty {hairy creature like big foot, who just so happens to be of the female persuasion} decided to make a few nests every few yards or so for her expected children {they birth anywhere from two to seven younglings once every century of so} …the fact you see so many of these "nests" could be a good sign that while on her the visit in your neighboring woods she is awaiting her delivery…

Goodness, I would keep from eating popsicles outside, or refrain from hanging very brightly colored laundry out to dry on your line for the next few weeks as she is most likely trying to find a good source of food and clothing for the approaching litter…

    good luck Kerin…

If you ever need anymore assistance, on say, keeping them out of your trash or digging holes in your garden I have just the solution:)))

  2. Oh My, I hope Mrs Yetty does not eat doggies! This is SCARY Michaela! :)….perhaps it is my fault, as I have been stuck on these mango frozfruit popsicles the last few days! aaaaah!

  3. Actually, you should not bee too frightened as I hear they like dogs as friends and are quite shy but sweet…

Think a larger version of the Ewaks:)

Mango would make me want to camp out too…
